Setup: Two 3×3 boxes 10 yard apart with two different color cones at the side of each box.

Progression 1: 00:01
– Two touch (Player gets a point if opposition takes more than two).
– Accurate pass into the box (Player gets a point if opposition’s pass isn’t in the box).

Progression 2: 03:38
– Same as Progression 1 but now…
– Once Player A passes the ball, Player B yells a color for Player A to side shuffle to (If Player A goes the wrong way, Player B gets a point).
– If Player B doesn’t say the color before they receive the ball, Player A gets a point. (Promotes a quick touch and punch pass).

Progression 3: 09:40
– Same as 1 and 2 but now…
– If you make your opponent go to the other cone, you get a point.

Coaching Points: 06:18
Manipulate your opposition by saying a color, limits the time between your touch and pass, and pass it to the side of the square away from your opposition.

Progressions:
– Make the boxes smaller
– Make the distance between the boxes shorter (quicker decisions)
– Call opposite colors
– One touch
