  1. wow… what was ricketts thinking on that throw in. that ball was inside the 6 at about the 4 yard line, and anything at the 6 or closer should be the keeper's ball. especially on that play, the defender made the right play to let the ball go to ricketts, there was no interference for ricketts to go out there and grab it. who knows what he was doing just sitting there on his line.

  2. I find the MLS very entertaining (and i like keeping an eye on fellow Dubliner, Robbie Keane!) One thing i really like is how loyal the crowds are!
This game is a perfect example. Home team go 1-0 down in the 91st minute. If this happened in England, Spain, Italy etc….the home fans would start streaming out the gates! Portland's fans all stayed til the end – and got their reward! How it should be!!!
Support your team, from first to last!

  3. even though that bell was curling, Jaime Penedo would have saved that a million times last season. I don't know what's going on with him this year, but he's starting to worry me.

  4. There is a horrid no call  with about two minutes left, Juninho was on a clean break away and was pushed in the back as he entered the box.  Easiest red card in the world, but the 27 year old head ref told them to play on.  What a fucking joke the reffing is in this league. What's even better is that they won't put the play in question in the league highlights because it makes their refs look like the complete amateurs they are.
