Before winning it, Italy have actually done quite well at the Euros. Yes missed last two WC, but yeah final and quarterfinal is not too bad. As much as Im scarred as an Aussie 18 years on from WC 2006 aha- hopefully see them there in US, Can, Mex one in 2026
When you realize Italy only won this game because of the ongoing champions curse that's been occuring since 2016 that the current champions lose in the Round of 16 to any opponent they face even if the opponent is much weaker

I am really surprised why nobody thought Italy would Go this far(My Prediction was Italy vs France Semis..). They always had quality players.. With a discplined manager like Mancini they Just Found themselves back..
