RB Leipzig vs PSG | Post Match Analysis and Highlights | UCL on CBS Sports

For the first time in club history, Paris Saint-Germain will compete in the Champions League final. The French side defeated RB Leipzig 3-0 on Tuesday in the single leg of the Champions League semifinal in Lisbon.

Goals were scored from unconventional places with Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria and Juan Bernat getting on the scoresheet, while Neymar and Kylian Mbappe remaining noticeably absent. That doesn’t mean they weren’t involved, of course, as their presence alone allowed their teammates to get free while attacking and putting the ball behind net. Neymar was awarded an assist on the second goal of the match with a beautiful no-look heel chip that miraculously found Di Maria.

More notable than the goals of the game themselves is what this moment means to this French side. For years, PSG have been a club categorized (perhaps correctly) by their inability to succeed in European competitions rather than their on-field talents. Now, they have a chance to be the heroic version of this team that breaks that string of failure, and recategorizes this team to be one that can be dominant in Europe.

  1. That’s Di Maria version I expected since Benfica . I thought he gonna be a World Cup champion
For BSG they made a good progress as a team they are not individuals talent anymore

  2. Neymar finally matured into the footballer everyone wanted him to become. Happy for the guy. Top 3 in the world in my eyes. Besides Ronny and Messi. 1. Lewa 2. Immobile 3. Neymar

  3. RB literally gifted all 3 goals to PSG. Terribly stupid mistakes that cost them the match. I don’t see Bayern making those same mistakes. 3-1 to the Bavarians.

  4. They are seriously trying to say that's a foul on mukuele what a joke. Like seriously you could brush against someones sleeve and they'd say it was a foul. Funny thing is when these guys were playing they were flying into tackles and taking people out of the game

  5. I cant believe Roberto was questioning the call for a foul on the third goal. There was very minuscule contact, and not enough to force him to trip . You can see that he took another step with his left foot before he slipped and went down. Such an asspull from Roberto smh.
