  1. regarding Ozil, i think the club does not want him to play, not the manager.. i think clubs now interfere with the selection.. i think it has something to do with the contracts and the clauses in them.. the same with what happened with Rabiot at PSG.. it's not simply the managers anymore…

  2. As an Arsenal fan, the treatment Wenger suffered his final seasons was rubbish. Wenger did two things that will haunt him. He often moved players out of their natural position and he coached in Sir Alex’s era of dominance. One is the fault of the manager, the other was fate.

The issues with the club are upstairs. The board is in shambles, the ownership is piss poor. Unai is not a bad manager, but the decision to choose him over Snake Rodgers or Eddie Howe is a perfect example of ignorance of the league. Foreigners take at least two years to become accustomed to the style, physicality and speed generally whether player or manager.

The talent that has been invested through contracts does not fit the style of the current gaffer. That is not a formula for success. At this stage, the club should be playing the kids because they can not win with the current group.

  3. So the question was has he improved the Arsenal squad? Here are the Stat. the last 10 years.

    2019/20: 16 Point – Goalscore: 16-17 — 6. position (Emery)

    2018/19: 24 Point – Goalscore: 26-15 — 5. position (Emery)

    2017/18: 22 Point – Goalscore: 22-16 — 6. position (Wenger)

    2016/17: 25 Point – Goalscore: 25-12 — 4. position (Wenger)

    2015/16: 26 Point – Goalscore: 22 – 9 — 2. position (Wenger)

    2014/15: 17 Point – Goalscore: 20-15 — 8. position (Wenger)

    2013/14: 28 Point – Goalscore: 24-10 — 1. position (Wenger)

    2012/13: 19 Point – Goalscore: 23-13 — 6. position (Wenger)

    2011/12: 22 Point – Goalscore: 25-22 — 7. position (Wenger)

    2010/12: 23 Point – Goalscore: 24-11 — 3. position (Wenger)

    Average Emery: 20 point – Goalscore: 21 – 16 — 5.5 position

    Average Wenger: 22.75 point – Goalscore: 23.125 – 13.5 — 4.625 position

    TOTAL: Average: 22.2 point – Goalscore: 22.7 – 14 — 4.8 position

  4. SImple Emery does not know what he is doing, Xhaka plays sideways slows down games and gives away more fouls then intercept and winning tackles combined. Moretime Arsenal go a goal down you see Xhaka ball watching not commanding. Sell Xhaka, Get another goalkeeper another defensive Midfielder.

  5. Mers, people say that Arsenal are big club, they are not, never have been and never will be. Big clubs don't sell their best players to their competitors…Ray Kennedy to Liverpool, Frank Stapleton to Man u, Ashley Cole to Chelsea…and it's carried on.
No manager with any ambition and self respect would manage arsenal.

If you can tell me that Emery was their first choice I'd laugh in ya face!.
At one time they were 1 or 2 players away from rulings Europe, but instead of buying those players, they sold virtually the whole team. .. Henry, veiera, overmaars, petite…….

  6. Unai is just not good for Arsenal his presence ought to be felt when he came in but now he even failed to win the Europa cup now what good thing can he convince he's good nothing his tactics are poor

  7. The windrush generation used to say ..you have to be multiple times better than your white counterpart because of your skin colour..to get a look in. So Sol has to take that job because he hasn't got Lampard props. Just look at the lack of comments on the Sol Campell issue to see how nonchalant ppl are to the racial issues in football. You rather talk abt whether a pundit is substance abusing or who looks chubby. Thats how i know the kick it out sentiments from fans is not genuine.
