A great 1v1 practice, placing your winger and full back in realistic match situations.
For 11v11 game (shorter distances for smaller formats): 1️⃣ Winger is the attacker. Full back is the defender. If the full back wins it can they stay on it and play back to coach
2️⃣ Both players start next to coach (20 yards from goal line) who passes the ball down the side of 18 yard box
3️⃣ Winger must be quick to get to the ball first and hold off the full back
4️⃣ Can winger face up and beat the full back/create half a yard to get a cross in to waiting striker in the middle
5️⃣ Coach feeds another ball straight in to winger with full back tight. Repeat 2-3 times before next pair’s turn
6️⃣ Full back must be aggressive with their defending in order to stop the cross
