What Are The Rules of Swapping Soccer Jerseys?

We start with an epic rant! Someone didn’t love Alphonso Davies’ inclusion on the MLS Mount Rushmore…

Then it’s time to crown the Extratime Greatest MLS Team of All-Time, so Andrew, David, Charlie and Doyle comb through first-round voting and cast their own ballots. Goonies or prime Real Salt Lake? Shield-winning, record-setting 2018 New York Red Bulls or the 1998 Chicago Fire team that won the double? Tough decisions, but ones that much be made. Charlie finishes the show by explaining the ground rules of jersey swaps! #MLS #Soccer #ExtraTime

  1. Does trading jerseys cost the players?
If it does, who has to pay, who doesn't?

Sorry, I've been wondering about this ever since I saw a post about 'swppibg jerseys cost players' and would like to know😅

  2. Jozy Altidore.

Grew up in America, trained at IMG with the USMNT, Drafted at 16 in MLS SuperDraft, Original GA prospect Record Transfer of $10 million in 2008, a league record at the time. Started with RBNY and came back to TFC to win a Supporters Shield and MLS Cup with USMNT career along the way while playing in La Liga, Premier League and other European divisions.

This was Alphonso Davies before there was Alphonso Davies.

Jozy deserves a shot at Mount Rushmore IMO.

  3. Doyle is a mug, 2015 Red Bull was better than 2018. Charlie played the game, most ppl who played the game knew it when they see it. The way you analyze is too nba-ish’ and too Americanized. In football you understand the game with your eyes, not a copy of Wikipedia.

  4. Exactly, Charlie. Davies is a good kid who accomplished nothing and was only in the MLS a short time. That the idiots put him on the mountain side is moronic.

  5. This isn't a list for best homegrown MLS talent, this is the MOUNT RUSHMORE of the league's history. Davies has no place being one of the four faces… Charlie is absolutely right.
