FC Barcelona are in Spanish Super Cup action this Sunday, and the squad prepared for the showcase game on Friday morning at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. The players, who had been given a day off on Thursday, undertook various drills under the supervision of coach Ernesto Valverde.
All of the available first team players trained in the morning session, along with Miranda and Riqui Puig from Barça B. Carles Aleñá and Denis Suárez continued with their specific recovery work.
The Spanish Super Cup is the first official game of the season, and will be followed up by the Joan Gamper Trophy Game and the first LaLiga match of 2018/19
