The problem here is that the “creative midfielders” Bruno and Silva never played any through balls behind defenders. Look at 3:35 and how Jota plays a through ball to Ronaldo in the back and he gets a shot with his left foot.
Ronaldo’s movement in between defenders is great. The real underachievers this Euro for Portugal was Bruno and Bernardo. Huge disappointments.
