Everyone's barkin at the ref, how about we get the mouth running under control. We have the most bitchy players of any professional sport and everyone just wants to embolden that nonsense as if it hasn't been absolutely ridiculous for decades. I'm no fan of a power hungry ref, but until we know what was said to him, I'm cautiously supportive of this move.
MLS should give this ref the pink slip, he needs to go referee highschool games and get a love for the sport again.

This ref was in his feelings, if that was a red then after 90 minutes, the game would be played only by the goalkeepers.
Of course he deserved that second yellow. You can see the ref warning him to stop it.
MLS has been very VERY clear that only the captain of a team may approach the ref. All other players will be yellow carded if they continue to approach the ref.
The first yellow was for dissent. Don't know what he said but MLS is cracking down on dissent hard this year.
The ref then clearly backs up and tells Busquets to back off. Every step the ref takes backwards, Busquets takes forward. This is the clear illegal approach of a non captain player, yellow card.
Totally warranted given to rules. We are also half way through the season, players know the rules by now.
