Kane Crichlow got the opening goal in the 37′ as Bermuda finally broke through the Belize defense. Jahron Myvette blocked Crichlow’s first attempt, but the second opportunity had enough power to get past Belize GK Charles Tillett.
A long-range attempt from Bermuda’s Ne-Jai Tucker in the 50′ had the makings to be one of the goals of the tournament, but Tillett got a hand on it just in the nick of time to push it over the bar.
Eldon Reneau pulled Belize level in the 75′ from the penalty spot after he was taken down in the box on the prior play.
Remy Coddington had a shot on frame from a free kick on the last play of the game for Bermuda, but Tillett captured it as both sides shared the spoils.
