  1. Honestly no, the best teams in Copa America compete, individually and as a collective. When it comes to the middle and low tier, then yes Europe has better middle to low to your teams. But sometimes those teams are inconsistent, and can be beat by any region.

  2. Of course euro always have better midfielders and copa always have more skillfull attackers specifically from Argentina and Brazil.. But in south america there much less nations than europe so if you have less in amount that means you'll have less competitve teams like in south america there's big 3 of Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and some othet good teams like Colombia, Chile on the other end in europe you have big 5 of and some other like Netherlsnds, Belgium, Portugal etc but that out of more than 50+ nations and in south america just about 15,20 even when they include north america they still got 16 teams in Copa.. And europe also have more money, better exposure so these are also the factors…

  3. What? Brazil's whole football "joga bonito" ideology is about making the beautifull game beautifull. Actually, they do not even say joga bonito, they say "futebol arte" or football art to talk abou how the National team should play.

  4. speaking of Cruyff and not mentioning pep guardiola is a crime. The impact that pep has left to modern football is too evident and his disciples are spread all over Europe, spreading his philosophy

  5. I was watching this and thought about spectators… there is a difference in temperament of the spectators… South Americans are more fiery and emotional, so the football doesn't need to be too technical.

  6. I think the exposure to the top leagues in Europe and the Champions League mean that all the qualifiers for the tournament can put up a good fight. There are always favourites obviously, but the last few world cups have had a European team in the final or European winner.

Argentina broke that at the last tournament, but they were up against a European team.

That said, I love the passion and aggression the southern American teams bring to the world cup. The mix of styles is needed and welcomed. Can never be counted out
