The Portland Timbers and LAFC are looking to rebound from Week 18 midweek defeats when the Western Conference foes meet Sunday night at Providence Park.
The Timbers (9W-5L-3D) had a five-match winning streak snapped when they fell 2-1 to Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium Wednesday night, while LAFC (7W-7L-3D) fell to the Whitecaps by the same scoreline at Providence Park.
This is the third meeting this season with LAFC winning 4-2 at Banc of California Stadium Sept. 13 after the teams played to a 2-2 draw at the MLS is Back Tournament in July.

I live in Portland, I am a Timbers fan, but I frigging hate how if they have a 1 goal lead near the end of a game, they decide that they would rather just pack the goal box and hope for the best. So many Timbers games either ended up tied or lost because of this mindset.
