Garbage second yellow. Never in a million years. Its not even a foul on any pitch in the world. The pen could be argued as harsh, but i get why VAR didnt reverse it. Likely wouldnt have been called on most days, but it was here so it stands.
Second yellow was an absolute shocker though. Ref needs to be reprimanded. Also, second yellows should be VARd.

There was no stumping on the foot as I initially thought. I like Barca but that’s just the truth.

That commentator has to be from Madrid 😂 it's a clear second yellow card as Buchanan is late for the challenge and is a clear penalty considering that the defender is unbalancing Aitana by grabbing her by the arm and pushing her. Embarrassing comments from the commentator today.

you can blame the ref all you want but what it comes down to is that Chelsea couldn't score when they needed to. as for the ref, he made bad calls on both sides . there is a saying that where you don't ever want to leave it to the refs to win games, go out and win , score goals…
After reading the Chelsea coach claiming it wasn’t even a foul comment I watched the highlights. A red carded player is stepping on the opponent’s toes. That is a yellow card . I believe it was her second and given her marching orders. Chelsea cannot cry on pk decision either. You never put your hand on attacking player’s shoulder in the box. You can claim all day the opponent dropped herself like a sack of potato. You have to be smarter than that. Many male players do the same mistake.
I do not like Chelsea, was supporting Barca, and, I didn't watch the game so I may have missed something, but both the yellow card/red card and the penalty given were very questionable to me. Didn't look like a yellow card, looked like she went for the ball, won it, and stepped on her toes after.
