  1. Plz give credit to team that completely outclassed you in both legs and stop complaining😂It could have been more than 3-1 and you guys are talking sh*t…Combine the experience that Roma players gathered from Jose and how DDR has change their style of play you could see that this team has everything to be in the finals…This Roma team is full of Winners like Dybala,Lukaku, pellegrini, paredes, spinna,Smalling, just naming a few who are completely underated…so give some credit to them

  2. Pioli is not a bad manager, it's just that Pioli will not evolve Milan further. Someone like Thiago Motta, someone that can get a result against big teams with a smaller side is someone that we need. But that wasn't fully Piolis fault, mostly it's the board. Nothing more to be said, the board is at fault

  3. Milan needs to replace Pioli and 6 of the 11 starters. Milan only has flops from mid-table teams and washed/lazy work rate players. Every single player on Milan is overrated and mid-level at best. We need world-class players not mid-class players who are team players and aren't lazy like half the players on the team right now. Milan never wakes up until the end of 2nd half. Literally every single game. Milan not only doesn't know how to score team goals but have horrible defense. We need a coach that will teach players to "never" cross the ball. Crossing the ball for headers is the only tactic Pioli has and is outdated. Physicality is one of the least important qualities in today's football yet all we do is pick up washed or flops with good physicality. We need players who don't make mistakes while passing and stop this 90s crossing BS hoping to score a goal which always leads to us conceding a goal. All passes from every single player is too obvious and every single team knows all Milan does is cross the ball in to Giroud or use Leao on the wing. Even Leao who is Milan's best player atm loses the ball 9/10 times. Milan can't keep possession 99% of the time even against mid-level teams. I honestly think the problem is bigger than Pioli and their mid-level players. I blame the scouters and recruits for managers and players. They literally build a team for failure thinking this is still the 80s. No strategy, no tactics, no team work. Only physicality and showboat skills. I am a 42 year old Milan fan who has been watching Milan since 1994. Our team has been going down hill since the mid 2000s. It's been over 20 years since then and it's still going down hill. Please replace the board after you replace Pioli and 6 of your 11 starters. This is the only way we can ever win a trophy.

  4. What are you guys talking about? The strategy was bomb crosses in against a Roma backline with 5 NBA players. No fault to the players for a braindead strat

  5. To answer the title. Yes he's to blame for sure and he's to blame for all losses in any tournament. We need anyone else. Even Josè would do better than this yes-man. This is pathetic.

  6. Pioli is the biggest problem. During summer, he rejected Dominguez and Hinge. Now we can see right back Calabria is so bad. And we can see the defense in front of penalty box is a big hole without a good DM. His tactics is so simple as well, no team works

  7. de Zerbi started at Milan and I'm sure would love to coach the team. I think the bigger question is whether a big team wants to gamble on him as his experience has only ever been at smaller clubs.
From within Italy, I can see Italiano (Fiorentina) or Sarri (who quit Lazio) taking over if Thiago Motta is going to Juventus. It's not common for Italian teams to use international coaches although it happens and in that case maybe Fonseca would return to coach in Italy.

I agree with the other comments that Roma were exceptionally well organized- credit to them and the coach. Milan looked marginally more dangerous once Chukweze came on and scored a consolation goal. Hard to say how the full 90 would've gone if that had been the starting formation though. Roma are an experienced cup team and I think that really came through over the two legs.

  8. Musah and Pulisic had bad games but Pioli has time and time again been found out.

Milan are still leaking goals and there were games his job was saved by the late heroics of Leao, Jovic, Pulisic etc.

  9. Boys, let's give some credits to Roma, shall we? They are not a weak team in the slightest and fully deserved to win vs Milan. Lukaku, Dybala, Pellegrini… and more. They have some excellent players. And let's not forget Roma is owned by Americans as well, Dan Friedkin and family. We always praise and follow Milan so much due the fact they have a few American players among their ranks, but Roma is also an "American" team.
