  1. one of the few english footballers that I really really REALLY liked. All of the respect and admiration in the world for frankie and stevie g, 2 of england's biggest legends that I have lived to watch.

Also, the goal against Barca is easily in top 100 my favorite goals of all time. Not just because of this goal in particular, but generally speaking I have considered frankie to be one of the few really genius footballers in the world, just like andrea pirlo, cruyff, and to a lesser extent philipp lahm (ex-Bayern captain)

  2. I’m no Chelsea fan but admire frank.the class of hoddle only smarter . And the finishing instinct of Romario.that 0-0 draw with qpr when Chelsea were down to 9 men within minutes was undoubtedly the most intelligent performance of football history.they couldn’t get the ball of him . They should have lost 4-0 that day .303 goals from midfield at that level . Give him the England job now .

  3. Lampards 2005 goal vs bayern munich was in champions league last 16 knocked out munich lampard scored 1 in first tie then 2 goals in 2nd

Lampard also in 2005 champions league quater final he scored chelseas 2nd goal in chelsea 4-2 win against barcelona knocking barca out

2006/07 lampards byline goal against Barcelona at Nou Camp was Chelseas 4th group game it finished 2-2 chelsea topped the table

Lampard also scored 2 goals in the 2009 champions league quater final 4-4 draw knocking out liverpool on away goal

Lampards 2009 fa cup winning goal against everton should be in the list
