UCD will be playing Premier Division football next season after a comeback win at Richmond Park in the 2021 Promotion/Relegation Play-Off. Waterford took an early lead through Anthony Wordsworth before UCD responded with two first half strikes from Dara Keane and First Division top scorer Colm Whelan to secure their place in next year’s top flight, resigning Waterford to relegation.
