  1. Credit to Cahill … years later he's shown his Punditry was way ahead of Roy Keane … and Tim put him in his box. Keane is a bull in a China shop with his opinions … he'd argue with himself if he looked in a mirror.

  2. This is the difference between someone who looks at football as just black and white (Roy) and someone who takes a broader and wider perspective of things (Cahill). Since the time since of this discussion it’s quite clear who was proven right. Arteta and Arsenal in the title race for the 2nd successive season with a real chance to win it for the first time in 20 years and in the QF of the Champions League and Man United are in the same spot (fighting for 4th/5th/6th position again – (Everton fan)

  3. I watch this regularly. Love Roy Keane he says it how it is. But Arteta has had a plan. Cahill says this. All people close to Mikel will tell you how in depth he is. Odegard, balague, … mik ❤

  4. Crazy to watch this now and see how Cahill got it absolutely right. Win or lose Arteta brought an identity to the team that it lacked for years. Yes, in the short term you might sacrifice points but for long term success.

  5. Looking back on this now reflects better on Cahill than Keane. Keane blamed the players and defends Ole, but now Utd have a manager who is getting the best out of a lot of players that were already there when he came in. And Cahill has proved very insightful with respect to what Arteta was building at Arsenal.
