the one thing that will keep them up is Goodison Park (and the atmosphere). Carragher got that right
If they enter the championship its very easy to get sucked further down the pipe. Who knows, in 3 or 4 seasons they could be in league 1 that's how serious it is for them.
Look at Blackburn, Leeds, Newcastle.. It's a long way back for them if they don't find the club spirit very soon!

Don’t whine. It’s unbecoming. When Everton had David Moyes, it was an excellent club. Money doesn’t buy trophies. Toffees need a Klopp. It’s like a rudderless club. Chasing success like Newcastle. Cherish what you had. What can Frank do? He has never managed a club from the bottom divisions.
