I loved it when you compared passing on grass to passing on turf. "On grass you'll get that odd bump every now and then'. We recently played on a turf field the day after a storm. Due to a torrential rain, all the beads had collected into what resembled waves on water or the waves of a sand dune in the desert. Playing on the field that night was like playing in a cow pasture. One of the bumpiest fields we've ever played on. We were down 3-0 at the half but after learning the field and how to play the ball, we came back and scored 2 goals but ran out of time and lost 3-2. A very memorable game to say the least, lol.
