Feyenoord play some damn good football; most importantly they get out of their own way.
Mexicans don't know what they have😂 just like when Hugo Sanchez was the biggest player in Mexican football they put him in the bench because they preferred someone else, now they prefer Raul Jimenez or Martin, Gimenez should have played for Argentina, the Mexicans don't appreciate him enough.
His timing and runs are lethal. His ability to run into space makes him so good. Makes me proud to know there is finally a true Mexican number 9.

As a Mexican, I think Gimenez is a very good pure striker. He’s in the mold of a striker that isnt very involved in build-up, he just a finisher. Im curious to see where he’ll end up because the top clubs strikers are very well-rounded. I dont doubt his ability to expand his game and he does have elite positioning. I think he can reach the top, and at the rate hes progressing, it’s inevitable. I think if his finishing becomes a little more clinical and he loses sloppiness in possession, he’ll be at the highest level for a very long time.
This Feyenoord team is going to be picked apart in the summer like Monaco was in the summer of 2017. They have too many young stand out players: Wieffer, Timber, Zerrouki, Gimenez, Geetruida and Hartman. Hopefully they at least make it to the UCL Semis before that happens.
