Coming back to this video in 2023, Pep's Man City team from 2020/21 – 2022/23 would be top of the list with 23 points.
20/21: League win +4, League cup +1, European cup runner's up +2 = 7
21/22: League win +4 = 4
22/23: European cup win +5, League win +4, FA Cup +2, UEFA Super Cup +1 = 12
7+4+12 = 23
When you then factor in that City also won the league in 2 out of the 3 prior seasons (2017/18, 2018/19), with one of those teams breaking the record for most ever points in a season (100), you realize that this is likely the greatest club team England has ever seen.
City's 67/68-69/70 team deserves a shoutout.

This current Man City side is on 23 points with the chance to make it 25 points if they win the super cup and club world cup !! Already joint first of their list with the chance to stand alone as the best. They would also tie with the Real Madrid side of 2015-2018 but would still be 3 points behind Pep's Barca and 5 points less than Cruyff's Ajax side of the 70s.
