  1. 3 FACTS:
    1. Two years ago, I said we needed pace up front, that no one was afraid of the Ferran/Lewa combo, and that we should try Raphinha as a striker—I guess that aged well! Hansi reads my comments. 😉
    2. Anthony Gordon was my MOTM, even though I still have the feeling that Lamine doesn’t like him or "doesn’t want to see him on the pitch"—he almost never passes to Gordon when he is standing open in front of the goalkeeper.
    3. Koundé to PSG — let’s weaken their squad. 😏

  2. Real Madrid look great too. But here is I think the difference. Barca press so fiercely for all 90 mins. There is squad depth and all front players are fast put in an insane work rate. Can Real Madrid maintain that intensity?

  3. By taking it public and dragging Barcelona to FIFA, CEO Gil Marín ensured their behavior couldn't be swept under the rug as standard posturing. Because Barcelona operates like rules are suggestions, relying on back-channel tactics to destabilize players like Julián Álvarez, shining a legal spotlight is the only way to push back. Whether FIFA hands down a heavy deterrent or not, Atlético Madrid has fundamentally changed the dynamic by refusing to let institutional bullies write the script or play the victim without a fight.
