Very nice show , as a very long term ACM fan I can tell you that EL will be far more engaging to watch than CL for us … CL is more money but we now don’t stand a chance and games are often too competitive for us, leading to a poor spectacle … one day the table will turn again and ACM will be ready for CL again but that day is not today unfortunately ..
Both Milan and Juventus have very poor squad depth to go all the way in EL. English clubs in this competition are in world of problems at the start of season, so look out for Sociedad, Marseille, Lyon or Leverkusen…

Top Europa League teams uses the competition to rotate players, they usually focus on domestic competition, thats why you see more unexpected results there

Ibr with the Champions League you know what four or five teams will win it before the season starts whereas the Europa League it’s more unpredictable because you don’t know what teams could win it. I agree with Nico and Geoff in the sense that Europa League is more difficult because the travelling between games is so hard and short that you barely have time to rest and recover from the Thursday game for the weekend game especially when you travel from a place like Kazakhstan or Azerbaijan where you are on the plane for five or six hours returning at 3 or 4am on Friday morning and you have to recover from that then train for the weekend game
