Fermin will have a breakout season. He’s hungry from not getting as much playing time last year, and also missing out of the World Cup because of injury. People forget how great he was as a youth player at the Olympics.

Barcelona won 2–0, but Gordon still doesn’t convince. He works hard, presses and attacks space, but technically he’s not at Barcelona’s level, especially in tight spaces and in front of goal. For me, €80m was a mistake.
Raphinha looks very good as a false 9, with Yamal on the right and Adeyemi on the left. Gordon can be useful as a pressing weapon late in games, but he shouldn’t be a starter for Barcelona.
