  1. The best way I can sum up the coaches we've seen is:
Nigeria's Coach: In Onazi we trust
France Coach: Hugo do the thinking for me
Ego: Motivational genius who actually understands football
Fox: Everything a coach is "SUPPOSED" to he

  2. Hugo's more of a coach to the French team than their actual coach. Bro just came in to say, "Lock in, guys, or you'll lose to JAPAN." Came in with the "Use your weapons" and cracked his knuckles, like no fucking shit, man

  3. Well I would disagree a bit, retired players would say they never did much tactics if any at all, Patrice Viera said Alex Ferguson never did tactics, it was mental, coaches having a more hands on is fairly recent.

  4. Giant Killing is the manga where football and its tactics its at the center. Multiple awards as best spokkon btw.
One of the main characters is a Coach and ex-professional striker after all.

  5. Im ngl i dont think its fair to say that because a coach has a more laid back method of coaching he is not necessarily coaching. It feels like people are expecting every coach to be like pep guardiola ie control every facet of the team to the last decimal and that certainly is a method of coaching as teddy knight has shown but its like everyones ignoring the fact that coaches have won major tournaments and have been wildly acclaimed for coaching like people like ego and the france coach. Best examples of this is the france coach irl, zidane (won 3 champions leagues in a row) and ancelotti who i would say is closer to ego in coaching styles even. A lot of people like to act like kaneshiro has no footballing knowledge or blue lock in general has completely forgotten how football is actually played in favour or hype moment which ill be honest it does do that but its also weird for u to say just because a coach isnt controlling one to one of how a team plays hes a half coach or a bad coach because just like everything in life theres different methods of coaching and if it works. IT WORKS lmao.

Also really peeves me off when people say the coaches of blue lock dont act like real life coaches again just mentioned zidane ancelloti didier deschamps just to name a few. the method of coaching yall think is the standard is just a method of coaching proposed by johan cruyff which isnt wrong but isnt necessarily the only method. Even bale said zidane barely did any tactics unless rma was facing big teams like bayern or barca and even that was minimal. You just gotta realize that this style of coaching that the france u20 coach and ego use is the best for managing players with high raw talent and ego. You cant come out here bossing shidou to play a 1,2 tactical match no he isnt gonna do that, u cant tell loki a player so good hes reivaling noel noa at 18 how to play or move the ball up the pitch or hugo a tactical mastermind how hes supposed to operate. Same thing for france and real madrid these teams irl have always operated like this and need i say how succesful they are?

In my opinion i always thought kaneshiro got the u20 coach for france spot on cause as soon as i saw him coach and saw how france played i thought this is france irl. even in the most recent world cup france never had a solid strategy they mostly coasted through on the raw talent and ability of that amazing attack and defense. Ofc it bit them in the bud against spain but it didnt stop them from being two time finalist of the world cup back to back and winning one.
france always has operated on individual talent and ego since the 1970s from michel platini to zidane to mbappe its always been like this get one good player not even good extraordinary and get other extraordinary players around them and let them play. Same with real with the galacticos get a team of giants and let them play, they won 3 champions leagues in a row.

  6. Snuffy was like the only halfway decent coach in the NEL, and is probably as good as Fox.

Fox has a system he forces the players to play to, but Snuffy built Ubers around the players with the defensive focus and trying to channel plays to Barou as their main goal scoring threat.

Like, even just the team selection and focus on padding the back and hitting on the counter is a lot better than Noa and Loki just letting their own players tackle each other lol

In a way Snuffy ran Ubers like Mourinho ran Chelsea lmao, just finding a way to bang in goals consistently and then defend leads, I think that was a good way to make use of the talents of his players like Aiku Nico Lorenzo and Barou

  7. Tbh in blue lock u20 world cup the Nigerian coach tactic is seen countless times on real football, even their main team in the afcon plays like that, there are more details ofc but the whole of the work is to get the ball to oshimen for him to score and there are many clubs and countries that have their tactics as to get the ball to the striker and him to score, norway played like that with haaland in this world cup

  8. In real life, there are two types of coaches: tactical managers and player managers. In my opinion, Pep Guardiola is the greatest manager in football historyβ€”he is a tactical genius. On the other hand, coaches like Sir Alex Ferguson and Zinedine Zidane are elite player managers. They use free-flowing tactics that give their star players the freedom to run the show. A perfect real-life example of these two philosophies is comparing Manchester City to Real Madrid.

  9. In fairness some people do need to realize japans coach being bad is already a consistent. During NEL the master strikers arent coaches their players put into the role of coaching. Why is why their mostly development based excluding snuffy.

So Gambari is sadly a case of just a weak coach which parallels japan old philosophy . Whilst Rodin quite literally is gifted to a fault. Loki likely wont listen to anyone outside of hugo which is why the coach lets hugo lead.

The issue is simply lack of coaches which is a story issue.

Weve only seen 5 coaches who are actual coaches.

  10. the best coach in blue lock is undeniably Snuffy, he allowed for great tactical plays and solidity but also development of the players as said by Niko, he got the best of both worlds, unlike fox who's system seems to have the issue of stunting development as said by Agi.

  11. The OP doesn't play sport…
Because if he did.. It doesn't matter what "Ego the OP has, he Can NOT and WILL NOT oppose coach plan which is to always pass to Michael Jordan."

The point is not about coach do some things or not doing something.

The whole point is in real life, player must listen to the coach or else….you get cut from the team…

NBA is a team full of elite tall dunkers. Their individual skill is ALL good.
They ALL want to BE KOBE and Michael Jordan….

So if you use Ego static and let NBA players decide if they want to shoot the basket and miss but it is OK because as long as you shoot for your ego self you are In the right despite the team losing…

All coaches does work in background aka train regime..planing and position formation..

And during match time, the player in their position should ALREADY suitable for that role to carry out their functions.

There is no need for the Coach to TELL Defender to go and shoot the ball…
Because Defender is role is NOT suppose to shoot the ball.

That is why Sae is not a striker, he Play in REAL matches…not some in house High School soccer that Rin played where Rin can go rouge and do what he want…( Like he steal from Isagi shot vs Hugo.and lose..)

In real life, when some one want to be striker they have to prove off match and beat other players in their own team for the Role…

So that in Real match. He will be put in striker positions.

    —-

England Coaches is just like Base Ball coach giving hand sign…for pitcher what type of ball to throw so that he can hand sign for the Runner to run to next base..

Any coaches can do what fox does:

1 Fingers: Isagi switch from Defender to Mid Isagi..

2 Fingrts: Isagi switch to Striker role

3 Fingers: Isagi goal for a Foul to sacrifice for his team…

4 Fingers: Stall the ball don't advance and wait for time out
( would have been useful during Knicks vs Spurs…)

    5 Fingers: 2 on 1 team up vs striker…

Etc… Any Coach can do what Fox do….

But they don't because the other coach already trained their team to do play and carry it out….in real match. There is no need to do 1-5 Finger crap.

This is Blue Lock so we see Ego off match training blue lock to do his tactic…

The Manga is not going to show what Nigeria coach and England coach doing off match for training…

Summary this whole video points about coaches don't do anything is not true……other wise no one pay for coaches.

    For example:
    Tennis Coaches…
    Golf Coaches….
    Boxing Coaches….

They don't give hand sign crap…
They train the player to be skilled in their role.

Match time…use your many skilled techniques to crush your opponents.

If you give up…the coaches will throw in the towel and Go home…
    That is all.

Post Note: Ego is the best coaches is because he trained his player off match well…

While other team coaches train not well…

Noah the best striker doesn't even have any input vs snuffy..because what ever the team is before Snuffy match then it is what it is…

Noah is NOT going to have some magical plan to beat snuffy….just because snuffy is counter all his pre match plan…..

    —-

Note: Noah is the best striker and not a coach.

Ego was Noah rival striker and is now working as a Coach.

So we can confirm that Coaches are doing their things…

You just don't like it when the team lose….so you think the coach is doing nothing….

Noah won't be the best striker if he does nothing….
