It's obvious to me that Berhalter was a huge part of our success. Great job management.
It really sucks that the ref can be 10m from the play, in the correct position to view any potential foul from behind, clearly wave play on, follow that play, then signal a goal 13 seconds later, but all of that is unwound by VAR. Refs need to have more confidence in their calls. We had an AR in this game also not signalling out of bounds even though he had the best view of several plays and the ref then guessing and getting it wrong.
You can''t can't call this a collapse by Vancouver, a one goal loss against a very good team. San Jose on the other hand….
I guess the Dynamo are for real. I have been doubting them all along, but the clear and deserved win at Vancouver makes them legit.

Another unlucky/tough loss for the Whitecaps. They continue to play some great football and dominate games but just can’t seem to find the back of the net recently. Felt like a game we needed a little Berhalter magic.
