Decision Making in football is by far one of the most important skills for players to possess.
New research from the University of Portsmouth has provided a unique insight into football players’ thought processes, and the results could help other players improve their game

3:18 basically shows drawing out defenders to manipulate space pish into it and use it dor a goal opportunity
I am wacthing this and the best descion is to pas to left back to pass to push it forward to winger or pass to the winger to take it up feild
Brother I have a general doubt about tactical decison making. How to do we know that the opposition full back or center back is …you know about to pressure on me …..like we have seen that a few players making runs to drag players without the ball…but how do we attract and how are we sure that he is you know follow my run (which allows space to other players to dribble)or is going to press me …..and like we know that teams like psg you know are about to press you high but also sometimes I have seen that they also stay deep..so how do we attract them to follow our run…do we sledge or does it take place randomly ???
🎉❤
Make a vidio how i can be couch with pro tactics please😢
isn't this obvious to everyone else?
i swear i could have play in the prem, just never had the athleticism ( especially in the modern game) its just a load of pace merchants.
loved it!
It should matter what kind of pass the one with the ball can actually make and who is he passing it to. If you have Busquets right in front of you, you might as well always make the short pass. As for scanning, you can measure how often someone does it, you can't really measure what information they derive from it. Pirlo scans a lot, but he appears to gain more information from seeing very little around him, because he is so tactically aware that by the positions of only the players near him he knows where everyone else is and will be before they do themselves. Aiming to be less predictable only makes a difference in as much you actually have a wide enough skill set to be surprising them. If you're a winger who makes a bunch of poor short passes inside, there's not much reason to let you dribble the outside when that's obviously the only real danger you possess.
Could you please tell me which software you're using to create the graphic highlights?
The problem is i cant play like this game in school
0:32 u could also pass to the wingback who had acres of space , he could’ve carried the ball with the winger to support, it’s an option
The guy working in your old university looks like the villain two face
Yo…that is nice
"When a team is in control of the ball it allows the players to stick to their principles and focus on the game." This statement has no meaning. Players should always be focused on the game and a team can have principles that have nothing to do with being on the ball. Getting the whole team on the same page, also doesn't mean anything unless its to do with defensive/structural strategy. Actually in posession you don't want your whole team to be on the same page or you will never create opportunities. If I am a midfielder on the ball and I know I am going to reset play, if I am facing my winger they should still make an offensive movement counter to the defensive action that I am doing. Maybe you are theoretically correct about these things, but the words you are using to put it accross seem to be missing the point.
My way of putting it would be this. When a team is in control of the ball it allows them to increase the probability of opportunities playing out towards their strengths. For example if Liverpool is in possession of the ball, because overall they have a higher fitness level than opponents, they will look to progress quickly leaving less time for physical recovery, therefore giving most of their players an advatage. But for a team with high levels of creativity and acceleration. They would look to slow the game down to a stall before suddenly creating an attack that would advantage all the players with high acceleration and creativity. There are other defensive, psychological and strategical reasons for holding the ball, there are also the same for not holding the ball. But I do feel none were highlighted in this wordy video.
My RFL Manager sended this video for Roblox
What ever feels right just do it even if it turned out to be a wrong decision
To answer your question at the beginning, I would have played the ball to the left back. The left wing is too close to the opposing teams right back and I would have had to make a perfect pass to feet for the left winger to get it. With the left back…I have space to play, Im switching point of attack, and their numbers up in a 2v1 situation where the winger can get wider to allow left back to engage the opposing right back and get the winger into the attacking third with a simple ball into space down the left side of the field to beat the opposing right back.
If Football is not aprofession, how can you call them professional footballers? Most footballers hardly finished primaria school, and you assigned them a terciary educación title. There is not Pro Golf, Tennis, Rugby, Toilet cleaners, drivers, farmers.
These footballers are called Elite Sportsmen.
in pro game, it is not just up to the player to make his individual decisions, he should make decisions according to a set game plan. sometimes you attack on the opponent's weakness that is not necessarily convenient to your style. Some time you should play long balls more often in some areas, and the plan evolves throughout the match and you as a pro player need to adapt to that. It is not as easy as a lot of people think.
Can i know the name of the program you used to make the video animation over the football video
I think that the play was to the left fullback, ahead of him. The winger then runs towards the middle and the fullback passes ahead to the winger who goes in for a goal.
Very interesting video.
Summary:
*SCAN for relevant info so you can make better informed decisions.
*BE UNPREDICTABLE by switching up what decision you make in certain situations as well as disguising your decision through your body and your eyes.
*DICTATE THE FLOW by reading when to attack and when to control and regroup
when playing defence i'll sometimes hide behind attackers, leave just enough space and pretend i'm not paying attention to lure the other team into playing them passes i can intercept, a lot of times i'm more alert than their striker is and i'll pick off probably 80%+ of their efforts.
The first touch should have opened up his body and played into the unmarked winger right in front of him who then lays off the ball to the cm who is not really being marked (his marker has his back to him) now the cm can return the ball to winger on the run or pass straight into number 11? Who is only being marked by the referee, if 11 recieves the ball correctly he would be facing goal with a striker making a run in behind the cbs, a right winger making a run and the number 7 making a run as well. But this all takes a huge amount of practice of course and the lack of training meant the original right back starting the play never had the idea of where the play was developing so he decides to cut back inside and essentially re starting the whole play, at that point he should simply play the ball to his cb

What program are you using in the beginning to get the green and red circles and the arrows and animations?
absolutely wrong. First play would have been to the LB 3. then that guy needed to filter to his winger on his side.
I will succeed inshallah

Excellent topic and study by the team.
Adding following –
1. Player with ball is least important while taking decision than players without ball, own team and opponent.
Meaning, movement of players without ball and quick open positions influence decision and also use of options.
2. Use of entire football pitch by the players while possession of ball with own team and ball with opponent also influence.
3. Practice of above and synchronisation of the same simultaneously helps in prompt decision making…
Thanks for sharing.
In the first clip I would have went with E. Stay wide, and not come inside because the ball moves faster than the player, takes too long. Pass it off to CM or CB to make a forward pass, or straight to the RW depending on their quality. You keep more control of the field that way and is less risky. In top professional setting that RB would have been under pressure as he came into the midfield like that, and then he's left with few choices, who now also would be under pressure because the whole defending team would have taken the opportunity to push up and press based on the LB's movement.
letsgoski
love love very helpful
I play fifa I’m crossing it to the left wing
it is all about coordination and game knowledge, if you don't know how to play and when and where to play , you can't be good player.. even though many players scans the area but they can't make a good choice , because their game vision and focus level is less than other players
Save some time: they do it by visually scanning and making decisions according to their particular skills.
Now I saved you time, go and watch some Vinicius top plays.
Psalm 34:18
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
This verse offers comfort, reminding us that God is near to those who are sad or struggling and provides hope and healing.
