How Luis de la Fuente Made Spain Great Again

Luis de la Fuente was almost unknown when Spain appointed him in December 2022. Today, he has transformed the Spanish national team into one of the strongest and most complete teams in world football.

This football documentary explains how De la Fuente rebuilt Spain through a project that began years before he became senior head coach. From his success with Spain’s Under-19 and Under-21 teams to his trust in Lamine Yamal, Nico Williams, Rodri, Fabián Ruiz, Unai Simón, Dani Olmo and Mikel Oyarzabal, he already knew the generation that would define Spain’s future.

The video also explores how Spain moved away from slow, predictable possession and became a faster, more direct and dangerous team. It covers De la Fuente’s biggest decisions, Spain’s Euro 2024 triumph, their journey to the 2026 World Cup final, and his unexpected connection with Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni.

This is the story of how Luis de la Fuente made Spain great again.

  1. when you win everyone listens. Remember that. you might be the best, you lose they diss you, you are OKAY they listen. life is about results. and it is not fair. the best players often vanish before you hear their name. here is a spoiler. Argentina was forced to lose.

  2. a football team must be like an orchestra. once talent is established, chemistry is everything. timing is everything. selflessness is everything. everything else is GARBAGE

  3. I would like to use your voice for my YouTube documentary videos.
‎Please may I have your permission to do so?
    ‎Thank you.

And I want to learn from you because you're really good at what you do

  4. Football really is weird Enrique failed with spain and now he is the best coach in club football and Luis De La Fuente his replacement is the best coach in national team football. Really shows how different international and club football really is.

  5. He went from being sacked from a third división team.to win every tournament he could have won from the sub categories to the absolute team, plus olimpic medsl and nations lesgue. Everything. Now he Will feed the poor in Madrid as he promised.

  6. I cannot understand why the vid creators do not check how to pronounce the names of the players: it is O-yar-ZÁ-bal (stress in Za, pronounced tha); Cu-bar-SÍ (pronounced Cu-bar-SEE), etc

  7. HE DID NOT. FIFA / UEFA CORRUPTION DID. ONCE AGAIN, THIS WEAK SIDE "WINS" TITLE DUE TO PLAYING
AGAINST VERY WEAK OPPONENTS + REFEREE AMAZING CORRUPTION WHEN NEEDED.
UEFA / FIFA TURNED THE GAME INTO A SOFT, FEMINIE GAME. THAT ENABLES THE GAME STYLE OF
    ENDLESS POSSESION.

  8. It is very distracting that the script is written like “it wasn’t x, but y.” It repeats sentence structures like that multiple times in a row. Like “because it wasn’t x, but it was y.”

  9. whatever spain has been cooking the past 4 years where they've won numerous championships including 2 world cups. everyone needs to go to school and learn how they did it. from the youth system to the highest league. spain in this year's world cup DOMINATED (except when they played cape verde who deserve their flowers for taking both spain and argentina to the limit).

  10. The greatest coach in Spanish history is Mr. Luis Aragones. In 2008 he didn't bring Raul Gonzales Blanco, Spain and Real Madrid's highest goal scorer in history, because he was getting old and in the pathway of David Villa and Fernando Torres. Madrid's press brought hell to his decision, but Villa became a Spanish legend, and Torres scored the goal in the final against Germany to win the European Cup for the second time after 60+ years. After that, with Del Bosque, 2010 World Cup winners and 2012 European Cup winners again.

  12. The final was literally rigged, as well as every major game of Spain on the WC 2026. There's a video about Messi calming down the team right before playing the game. It's said something happened right before coming out of the dressing room. There are various theories:

    1. Argentina should have been desqualified after presenting that flag after the game against England. But that would have implied the loss of several billions of dollars and the upcoming WC in 2030. So, a behind-the-curtain arrangement was made: Spain would win, Argentina would loose and then the final and the WC 2030 would be possible.

    2. Masonry intervention: They wanted to perfmor a "ritual" through which Yamal would have received Messi's "powers" to become the best player in Europe as both Messi and Ronaldo are retiring in order to keep the business running.

    3. Infantino was pressed by UEFA because he gave Trump too much participation in this WC and they told him that if this WC wasn't won by an European team, he would been discharged from his position as the FIFA president. As such, the AFA president was threatened too by UEFA that told him they would have delivered him to FBI of he didnt comply, whom have told the Argentina national team that they had to loose to Spain, which would explain Messi telling his teammates to "forget about everything" and to just "play the game" showing a clear change of mood compared to the training session the day before, in which you can see them all happy and smiling.

Also, the WC 2030 was supposedly promised to England after the incident regarding the flag shown after the match.

There were a lot of things off during some matches.

Every major rival that faced Spain barely attacked, rival players behaviors, strange replacements of players during matches, the rules clearly favoring Spain (France also protested about this after they lost to Spain) which happened again against Argentina.

UEFA – FIFA clearly wanted at least 4 games to happen:

    – Argentina v England:

Englad beat Norway with a goal that should have not been.

    – France v Spain:

Marrocco didn't attack France in the whole match, so they would won and have to face Spain

Ronaldo refused to participate in this corruption which he noted during the match against Croatia, which led to this teammates to dispise him cuz they were promised this WC some years before (that's why the The Economist cover player is wearing a red uniform), and saying his ego was the problem was the perfect excuse, so they had to change plans in order for Spain to win.

    – Argentina v Spain:

As said before, the winner was decided even the match had started. Just like France, Argentina also didn't attack the whole match. And Cucurella clearly carrying the cup in a transparent trash bag in order for the world to see, clearly being an indirect that the trophy worths nothing based on how was won.

Check X and Ig and search for this theories if you want. You might disagree but you'll see that everyone's saying the same thing: no one knows what really happened, but something DEFINITELY happened.
