  1. To me MLS took a step backwards when it went with the apple contract. Like it was literally cheaper and easier to watch EPL via peacock than MLS. Now after changing it to not adding an extra fee for MLS via Apple TV is better but still think not as good. MLS salary cap is ok because if you don’t then the league will go bankrupt trying to top getting expensive players that may or may not grow the fanbase or culture. MLS just needs time and it has been growing etc.

  2. If I were making predictions, football fandom will go up; but MLS itself won’t retain its popularity once Messi retires. Also, football fans will support their local club even if it means rooting for a USL club instead along with whatever international club they support.
