Reasonably entertaining match for a friendly and both teams trying out their youngsters. But both teams were a bit sloppy too. There's no way Esposito should have missed that early opportunity, and then the Inter score was really bad defending on Man City's part. And can a top team like City really be that inept at penalties? That was crazy.

guys in the comments complaining about defenders taking PKs is ridiculous…if they dont know what it feels like to be put in this position and the pressure of taking a PK now that it is a friendly….imagine in a UCL final or knockout round….this is exactly the time for them to be getting used to it….besides some of the best/accurate PK takers in the history of the game are defenders btw. (Leighton Baines ,Graham Alexander, Ronald Koeman all have 90% + PK scoring rate…even guys like Sergio Ramos scored PKs at a high rate…)
