Arsenal v Spurs | The Beautiful Divide, Episode 1

The ‘Beautiful Divide’ is a Score90 Original series, following football’s fiercest rivalries.

The North London derby, told from both sides. Arsenal, Tottenham, and the few miles of road between them that decide who you are.

In North London, you don’t choose a football club. You inherit one. It gets passed down like a surname, and once it’s yours, it never leaves.

We have all consumed this derby many times. Super Sunday, highlights, tactics, punditry…But there’s a whole side to this derby that doesn’t make it to your screen.

So we went and found it.

Presenter Adam Catterall spends derby week walking the line between the two tribes. On the Arsenal side there’s Lee Judges, who got the club from his dad and grew up with half his family Spurs. On the Tottenham side there’s Lee ‘The Rabbi’ Wilder, the megaphone man of the High Road, a former hooligan who reinvented himself as the loudest Spurs fan in the borough. Around them: the young lads who carry the rivalry on their phones and with their fists, and the old heads who remember when it was the other way round.

From Arsenal crossing the river in 1913 to Sol Campbell crossing the divide in 2001, this is the story of how one patch of London ended up split in two, and the tale of the people who make it what it is.

Because in North London, you don’t just support a club. You become it.

  1. mistake from the begininng. 7.6 miles apart???!!! its 4 miles. literally up seven sisters then you're in tottenham. and whats with that graphic putting the emirates beneath camden??!!!

  2. Even tho this piece got some muppet to rep for Arsenal and was highly biased in favor of Tottenham, it still seems pretty obvious that the old guard from the 80's and 90's owned the pavement vs the Gooners back in the day… Not a hint of deceit detected when the OG's made that claim

  3. He dpesnt like Spurs because he was told not to! You couldnt make it up! I hate Arsenal because they're arrogant and go on the missing list in defeat! Terrible winners; atrocious losers!

  4. This reminds me of a more polished version of Derby Days by copa90 except this doesn't look as genuine unfortunately. I know Arsenal are scum but I'm sure they could have found better than a 20 year old kid too afraid to show his face.

  5. “North London Always gonna be lily white” then “north London always gonna be blue” 😅😂 even spurs fans confused lol 😂 GOONER 4L ❤❤❤❤

The red and white guy in the mask 🤦🏿‍♂️ you twat he don’t represent us getting scared of another in a Bally 😂no chat mugged us off

  6. There's not much to discuss. They belong to Woolwich where they got relegated to 2nd league, failed to qualify for two seasons straight to the top league and then bribedbought their way out in an auction and moved to North London to stink up the place.

  7. This rubbish is awful and has no place in modern society all very well loving your team but why hate the other teams the Mormon Arsenal supporter needs locking away sadly they don’t have the monopoly on these types of Neanderthals
Been a spurs fan all my life but being called out when Munich gave us a drubbing at white hart lane for applauding there six and seventh goals shows how dumb football fans are the Munich team and most of there fans were a thing of bueaty .
I still love my football but I tend to go to see rugby now can have a laugh with the away supporters and a drink
Any way football fans get real show respect for every one know something good when you see it
Have a laugh with the other fans and call out and stop the morons that plague our game at all levels stay safe and enjoy the new season
    Spurs for the title?

  8. As an Arsenal supporter, it is interesting and conflicting to see the hospitality offered by Spurs fans versus the hostility on our side. Not sure if it was intentionally framed that way, but that’s how it came across.
