When Klopp was coach he had two non-negotiable rules when recruiting players they had to have no record of long term injuries and be worker first before talent. Under Slot and Hughes the director of football these standards were ended so purchased players who don’t work hard and can’t press, the secret of Klopp’s success and signed players who had an history of injuries means they would get injured at Liverpool. I think Hughes recruitment has been awful. Only Ekitike of all his signings have been success and when you spent half a billion and the team is weak and has major issues in defence and midfield, it shows you are a terrible recruiter who can’t build a balance squad.
