WE need way more quality ON the Pitch. I mean sane woulndt have Played If better Options were in place. ITS clear that some other countries do better. Portugal, spain, france and England at least
German here, the problem are the players. They don't give a damn about representing the Nation. Just look with how much passion and honor "smaller Nations" go into those tournaments.
No other coach can bring a low confidence team back on track like Klopp does.
Just look at the glow ups of Dortmund and Liverpool.
We Germans are lucky that Klopp is such a partiot.
Naggelsmann is a fraud.
I am a Dortmund fan, but even I know that you could put some bum in charge of Bayern and they would most likely win the league.
It was simply a big slip up by Bayern that costed Germany.
What was Julian thinking starting Neuer and Havertz?!
My how the narrative switches. Everyone slammed Paraguay for physical mugging tactics against France and how it was good for football they lost but against germany , this same team was lauded for their tenacity. 😅 france got the calls that germany did not. Germany actually scored in open play against Paraguay; france needed a soft penalty. Germany actually scored the winner but was denied controversially, and Woltemade was hammered from behind in the box but no call. But for those calls and non_ calls, Germany would have faced france who subsequently dissapointed against spain and even england
GERMANY WITH KLOPP, ZIDANE WILL PROBABLY BE THE NEXT COACH FOR FRANCE, IT'S GONNA BE FIREWORKS!!!!!! 🇨🇵🇩🇪
Many Germans are stubborn in my opinion
I know he's been injured most of last season, but Musiala has been disappointing in the last couple of seasons for both Bayern and Germany😢😭 at one point he was blowing up just as much as Bellingham😢😭
Useless. German football has taken hostage by Bayern Munich. Import some footballers from Ecuador and Paraguay. Germany lost to Paraguay and Ecuador, shameful.
Nagelsmann is a fraud of a coach.
just horrible analysis honestly
they have the players to be in quarter final or maybe semi final, but they lost the way of knowing how to play tournament football, they want to domiante very team, but they arent that good any more
Germany will have a quick turn around now that they have a real coach. 2 years from now this team won’t have Sane or Goretzka on it and they will have Karl Bischof and El Mala they will be ready for Euro28
It proved extremely difficult for any team at the 2026 World Cup to break down the infamous scratching and biting 'low block'. France only beat Paraguay 1:0 by a penalty. Spain 1:0 against Argentina. Compared with Germany's team at the 2024 Euro (a quality side which should have gone to the semifinals or final if it hadn't met Spain in the QF), Kroos and Gündogan retired and were not adequately replaced by Nmecha and Pavlovic (Kimmich in the center could have changed that); Musiala came back from ACL surgery, Wirtz lost his edge in Liverpool. Plus, a very promising Lennart Karl got injured just before the World Cup and Schlotterback went out injured after the second group game. Nagelsmann alienated a number of players on the bench with ill motivated substitutions in the Ecuador game and damaged trust and team chemistry, not least by nominating Neuer at the last minute. Without the injuries and with Musiala and Wirtz in top form, they would surely have beaten Ecuador and Paraguay – but they would have gone out against France in the round of 16, anyway.
What went wrong with Germany was they lost their identity, Tiki-Taka & Slow position based football was never their identity, it's Spain's. The ferocious German pressing machine is gone after 2014, the long ball aren't there anymore, fast transition, counter attack all of them are absent. Instead of mimicking other they should focus on improving their own identity and players according to it .
I believe the German Football Association knew that this World Cup was predetermined, that helping Argentina reach the final was inevitable. Germany didn't want to be part of that. Klopp will return to Germany as was .
Germany don‘t produced players like they did before. The players are too similar in attack, not enough touchline-wingers and real No.9s. They don’t produced enough full-backs, especially right-backs. And the other positions are filled, but not with world-class players like it usually was. Also many attacking players are overhyped, i don‘t see one on the talent level of young Özil, Reus or Götze.
This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Klopp used very technical midfielders at Dortmund while playing high intensity football. Sahin and Gündogan were very technical midfielders. And he had attacking midfielders/No10s in Kagawa, Götze, Reus who very technical as well. It’s nonsense to claim Klopp only works with runners in midfield, because he had them at Liverpool.
Here is a reminder, that everybody should always remember: This coaching apprentice was paid, by the obviously through and through corrupt DFB, 4 Million for every year of his contract, and stepping out of hi until 2028 running contract, another 5 Million…. so, we the football fans and all the ámateur clubs that depend on support from the DFB are out € 21.000.000. Which Mr Naglesman, that joke in person, is now richer! How was it possible, that after his preposterous faílure at FC Bayern, someone made him national coach ?????
1) Mismanagement. Naglesmann was still searching for his best 11 and starting positions in the knockout round. He played guys out of position.
2) Leadership: Germany's best players were cautious, afraid to attack at times. They clearly didn't have plan for PK shootout. Tah's miss was his first ever PK at the pro level
3) Player selection/starters: Pavlovic and Sane had no business being on the field. Tom Bischoff should've been called up.
4) Injuries: Schlotterbeck was badly missed. Lennart Karl would've been HUGE. That dude is very much NOT afraid to break the pattern and attack.
5) Alienating and pushing out Toni Kroos back in 2024.
I was pretty shocked, but Germany does appear to have been in decline in recent years. Also, the kind of football that Spain plays really seems to fit the German mentality. Precision, control, strong defense, team synthesis. There's no reason Germany can't develop more in the vein of that program. It isn't going to be a France with Mbappe, Olise, etc. So getting back to a team that is controlled, precise, and hard to score against . . .
Controversial take about Germany : Sad to say Too many African players in their attacking formation. No offense to Sane, Gnabry, Musiala and Nmecha. They are gifted players but they do not play like Germans. They play like Africans…constantly relying on pure instincts and hardly any tactics to link up with other players.
They have lost their German identity and way of playing. Look at the 2014 Germany winning team. It's well balanced. You have Khedira as defensive mid, ozil as the winger and Boateng as the defender. Klopp needs to structure the team selection carefully.
Paraguay humiliated Germany ✅
Ayo big up TIMBSY!! CBS hit the jackpot by hiring him
Just like Italy.
What went wrong really is just having to play Paraguay, even brazil and argentina lost to them last year 😂😂 they play ultra defensive and foul and play dirty like argentina
17s ago is crazy
