Like how is Mbappe even top 10? Who cares how many goals you score if you cant carry you team to win anything. Give him his golden boot and let him enjoy it but he was and never is going to someone who carries his team into winning stuff except his one world cup.

This is probably the first year where the ballon dor winner isn’t obvious. Nobody has been overwhelmingly dominant in any competition, and an argument could be made for many players. It’ll really come down to what these journalists voting for the ballon dor value most.
Love watching Rodri navigate around traps like they're not even there, and I would love to see him get the Ballon D'Or, but… you can't pick him over Xavi Alonso for one simple reason: Xavi Alonso had the longest passing range. Let's remember that he could laser a 50 yard diagonal pass right into the pocket of a winger, and that's an incredibly valuable asset. I'd say only Tony (Kroos) could compete with him in that department.

Without listening to what is being said on this video my answer is going to be NO! He certainly played well in the World Cup but he didn't really make an impact on club level. Spain national team is a group of players who perfectly complement each other's playing style and the real credit should be given to their coach for putting that system in place. Everyone knows who should win but i wouldn't put too much stock in the award and the level of impartiality of the sport writers. The award has been rigged for some time now.

If the Ballon d'Or was fair and consistent, Mbappé should win without a doubt. Sadly this trophy voting system is nonsense. I think Rodri can win this year's Ballon D'or just like a year ago when the Spain National team won the Euro Cup and was City's heartbeat controlling the middle. I don't think after the World Cup the race for the Ballon D'or has a lot of competition because of so many matches that were streamed and watch by so many. 1)Rodri 2) Kane 3) Demblem PSG, these players had the biggest impact in league play and WC with consistency through the season.
