The games vs Czech Republic and Mexico were some of the best football Iโve seen from Korea. He fumbled against South Africa and maybe he doesnโt deserve to stay regarding the consequences. But it still felt like Korea was on the right track. Son was poor in this tournament, he looked completely outpaced by his teammates. To question his role was in my opinion a sign of progress from a Korean coach, looking beyond a personal name unlike Martinez with Ronaldo. Itโs a pity it had to end that way. Not starting Lee Jae Sung alongside Lee Kang In was a major mistake regarding the style he implemented.

Never seen a team play cookie cutter ball which means simple ball they didn't come up with any strategies it was frustrating to say the least.
All they did was pass in their backhalf then get a little close for crossers. They weren't winning any air battles.
If your compare this to American football it's like the chiefs started running the ball on 1st and 2nd down then doing a screen on 3rd. Just no aggressive tactics from them blew my mind.
