By fixing the match to favour Team USA you accomplished many things.
1. You showed the world the USA will cheat to win. You didnโt even hide it – you openly rigged the game for Team USA.
2. You showed the world how ignorant Americans are of the biggest sport in the world – starting with being the only country that calls football โsoccerโ, a country where the president of the world cup host nation is so ignorant he doesnโt even know what a Red Card is.
3. Trump ruined Team USAโs World Cup and caused them to lose and be eliminated. Had Team USA won because of Trumpโs cheating, the integrity of the sport, the world cup and the USA would be damaged and the shame of cheating to win would have followed them forever. The scandal would have ruined the World Cup. And so there was, thanks to Trump, no way Team USA could win.
Team USA had to lose. It was the only possible way to end the scandal and escape without causing more damage.
And they knew it and played like losers and lost badly to Belgium.
