that's the real thing that happened when other coaches took over MU before..they put too much pressure on the players..too much ego..so that the players felt stressed and hated the coach..they didn't want to cooperate with the coach..let's put amorim as the closest example..amorim put too much pressure on the players to play with a formation that was not common for all the players..a formation that was less familiar for all the players..so that made them stressed when playing with that formation and plus to the pressure given by the opponent during the match..so the players mentality and morale were falling..so they no longer respected every decision of the coach..they started not wanting to cooperate with the coach..so it's no wonder if the players no longer played seriously..because that was their way of conveying the message to the top management of MU that "we don't want amorim as coach anymore"..but try to look at it today..as if old players like lica,casemiro,bruno,shaw and maguire were conveying a message to the young players..that they need to play better to defend carrick as their coach..the players seemed too happy..the players respected carrick as someone who knows MU very well and also someone who is qualified to talk about MU..so that's what lica means
If he can build this atmosphere for long term he is right man for this job
