I think the sensor picked up a touch by the Portuguese defender… I would have accepted it if VAR had shown the sensor readings for Perišić, Matanović, and the defender. If those three touches on the ball can be seen that way, then fine… But as it stands, I think they just shifted the reading of the Portuguese player's touch to make it look like the Croatian forward had touched the ball.

First, it’s not like Croatia would have won the game. They’d have tied!!! Second, it is clearly offside! Haters! Isak did the same thing in Sweden game, nobody talks about it!!!!
So, if after the amount FIFA charges for ticket didn't reveal that the WC is just a huge money making scam, this match possibly shows that they are working to fix matches. Without the help of a very very generous VAR and a ref that seemed to be pretty obviously biased to Portugal, Croatia wins this match 2-1 in regular time. Portugal did not earn this win. It was gifted to them. it seems like a genuine possibility that FIFA will simply manipulate matches to get their desire big star match ups. Spain should be ready to get sunk by the refs in their next match.

Haters will always hate. Croatia was saved by VAR when Cristiano scored that 2-1 goal that was absolute brilliance from him.
Ronaldo was double teamed at the age of 41. He can be so dangerous at the box. It's a nervy penalty goal he took to get the equalizer. All praise for this great soon to be veteran. Ronaldo won the man of the match based on fan voting. He's so popular. I'd have given it to Diogo Costa personally for some fantastic saves.
This World Cup's VAR was made to help FIFA set up the grand Messi vs Ronaldo final that they know will optimize ticket sales and online chatter thus optimizing their revenues. The last two decades have been dominated by this rivalry and FIFA and Gianni know thats where the money will come from.

Ronaldo is a GOAT so is Luka and Messi. Ronaldo won the man of the match decided by FIFA based on fan voting. Id have given it to Diogo Costa if the decision solely lied with me. Croatia was definitely not robbed of the match because the match would have gone to extra time and even penalties if the goal was decided as legit. There are several issues with the offside rule whether we use technology or not. Maybe FIFA has to reconsider the offside rule altogether. I think at the end of the day, FIFA and by deduction referees lean towards Messi and Ronaldo because of their fandom. Many issues where even Red card is involved are ignored. FIFA plays to the gallery (fans) like many competitve sports do. I definitely do not underplay the greatness of what Ronaldo or Messi or others across the sports have achieved but reality is reality 😂
