Brazil and Norway are destined to meet in the 2026 World Cup round of 16. After a shaky start, Brazil have realized their standards once again and have impressed to make it past Japan. Norway needed a late Erling Haaland winner to get past Ivory Coast, but look to continue the tournament as one of the “dark horses”.

that ponytail guy seems ignorant…Spain would easily break down a low block. That is what they do
Brazil mind you will always be the favored team anyday in this match up. Norway are the underdogs but Norway can pull off something here if the stars align. But Brazil is the favored team here make no mistake about it. This is football and anything can happen.
Some of these takes are wild. Brazil literally so underrated at the moment.
In my opinion, the secret to beat Brazil for Norway is in their tactical approach two ways: Either keep true with their played and trusted 4-3-3, but then you need Sรธrloth getting more center oriented in the offensive work especially. And the RB being more wide and threatening. Option 2; which may be just as appealing in this game scenario is playing a more traditional 4-4-2. This team has beeen solid in this formation earlier, and it gives the lucurious option of having Erling and Alex together up front. In a game with expected high pressure, I think the duo up front with the attacking power of Nusa and the stability of Martin to the right (drifting in) would be beneficial.
The first guy claimed Brazil's only big winning margin was against Haiti, ignoring the 3โ0 win over Scotland. It looks like he didn't do his homework. The second one says the coach turned down a "request from the president" to field Neymar, when in reality the president doesn't even like Neymar… You guys need to get your facts straight. Aside from that, it should be a good match, and I believe Brazil will advanceโpossibly quite comfortably.
Besides Deeney who are these people to speak on the games??? In what world is Norway's defence better? Norway has conceded in every single game this tournament. Thats 8 goals in 4 games…Brazil has conceded only 2 goals in 4 games….
Do not underestimate Norway ! Norway beat them 28 years ago
As a Norwegian I can't truly imagine them beating Brazil. Brazilians just have that finesse in their culture when it comes to ball. There's really nothing quite like it. Beating Brazil in 1998 doesn't really make a huge difference.
That being said, it could happen.
Solbakken wanted this game when he rested his players. This is our chosen stand to fight our epic battle to mark our footprints after 28 years in the dark. Winter is coming for Brazil! You will remember this fight for the next thousend years. TO VALHALLA! ๐
Norway will outplay Brazil like Germany did in 2014. This Norwegian side is to strong for this Brazilteam
Brazil has not been able to beat a European team in playoff since after their last title run in 2002.
Mbappe can't break defense, olise, demble, cherki, Veni, yamal
Some of these guys are not rational in their analysis. Brazil is use to breaking down low blocks, even this team does it against Japan!
norway wont play a lowblock
The standard Brazil is held to compared to these other teams is insane. I get it, Brazil isn't dominating teams, but we came from behind to beat a well organized Japan team and took care of business in the group stage. Suddenly we aren't good enough to beat a team who just won their first knockout game in their history? Come on, some of this "analysis" is flat out ridiculous.
is football a theoretical game ? is it played on paper ? after watching these analysts these days, i think so. And these Brazil haters are here and there now a days.
just wait and see,, Brazil have NEVER been beating Norway, they will not do it now eighter !!
Brazil will beat the he'll out of Norway,
Brazil and Norway have faced each other four times in official international matches. Brazil has failed to win a single encounter, recording 2 losses and 2 draws: [1, 2, 3, 4]
July 28, 1988 (Friendly): Norway 1โ1 Brazil
May 30, 1997 (Friendly): Norway 4โ2 Brazil
June 23, 1998 (FIFA World Cup Group Stage): Norway 2โ1 Brazil
August 16, 2006 (Friendly): Norway 1โ1 Brazil [1, 2]
The norwegian defense might be a bit too lightweight at this level, but regardless, it is incredibly exciting that Norway finally has an offensive style of play that is getting noticed globally. Brasil`s midfield is currently described as more "experienced than sparkling," and it bears the hallmarks of wear and tear and imbalance. If Bruno Guimarรฃes has to drift out to help the full-backs double up on Nusa or Bobb, รdegaard will have oceans of time to turn with the ball. Brazil has been experimenting with a very offensive formation, which creates massive distances and spaces between their midfield and defense if the press isn't perfectly executed. Norway have the perfect architect to punish the exact department Brazil is struggling with the most. This is going to be exciting. Good luck to both teams, Norway and Brazil.
This ia not Brentford๐
None of these guys know ball. Patrick Berg eclipsed every single Brazil midfielder with his performance against Cote d'Ivoire. รdegaard is piling up assists. Berge is solid and a physical presence. Norway's midfield is easily better than Brazil's. All Brazil has is name recognition. They've actually been pretty poor this tournament and got completely overrun against Morocco in particular.
I am sorry when I watch Brazil and then compare them to Brazil 1982…How much they have fallen….many of you 40s and unders who know nothing before rivaldo/ronaldo/ronaldhino learn about arguably the most talented braziilan side that every brazil side must be held up to (1982)…..now you know why when i watch brazil over the years i am disgusted at what they have become…….https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxAFZtIi87w&t=159s
Noway will win 2-1
Americans commenting footbal is like an English teacher commenting on metaphysics.
Norway being "resillient defensivly"? I mean if you think offense is the best defense, sure. Its like hes asked chatgpt what sort of team Norway is and got the 90's version. Both Brazil and Norway have enormous potential, and it all comes down to who can leverage it the best during the game. Haaland was a shadow during CIV, but Nusa and Berg got to shine. That said, Norway never lost a game vs Brazil, but its been 20 years since the last time they met. Completely different teams. Maybe we will see it go to penalties – there Norway is a blank sheet.
As a Norwegian, itโs going to be a great match!! Deep inside I lean towards Brazil winning it, but I can also see us winning it. Lose or win, weโre happy we made it this far after 28 years of drought
Brazil 3 – Norway 1
How does Norway has a better defense when theyโve conceded 8 goals ๐๐ค
Funny how these guys think one player can take on a whole team. Haland is good, no doubt but he is just one player.
Guys, keep up with this Brazil bashing. This reverse jinx is working. Sincerely, from a Brazil fan.
Norway isnโt even a competition to Brasil, let's be realistic guys ๐
Brazil will win the world cup๐ง๐ท๐ช
So Brazil is the underdog against Norway? Alright.
What teams can break a low block? Norway is more than capable to break down a low block – actually one of the strenghts. Will not be useful this match though =D If Brazil can we wont know – I dont think we will play a low block anyhow.
Norway has not been anywhere near the form they were in during the qualifiers. If they play the way they did then, they can win, without a doubt. But don't think they will win the way they are playing now.
To be realistic, the journey will end for Norway here! And it is OK!! But is has been FUN!!! ๐ซก๐๐ป๐๐๐๐ณ๐ด๐ณ๐ด Thank you Norway, for this! ๐๐ป
How can I take that show or any of these guys seriously when they say Norway has a better defense when Brazil's CB pairing is one half of the four CBs that just started the CL final?
These self contradicting jokers can really be funny.
Who are these soccer experts?

crazy opinions
2-0 brazil
Brazil remind me if real madrid 2021-2022 season, definitely not strong, an underdog, but always comeback and prove people are wrong. Go brazil go hexa
First thing you gotta know! Never underestimate Brazil!
Brazil 1 – 7 Norway
