Shamrock Rovers suffered a heavy first leg defeat in their UEFA Europa League Play-Off Round tie with Hungarian side Ferencváros. Goals from Carlos Auzqui & Eldar Civic either side of an Adama Traore double gives Ferencváros a commanding lead ahead of Thursday’s second leg in Tallaght.

  1. Bassza meg, hogy elvesztette a mai meccset. baszd meg az edződ. Haszontalan klub. Haszontalan játékosok. Hogyan veszítesz egy alsó csapattal szemben? Hülye köcsögök vagytok mind. Ez a haszontalan csapat minden bizonnyal repülőgép-szerencsétlenséget fog szenvedni egy európai meccsen, és mindannyian meghaltok az okozott károkért.

  2. On the positive side and to be fair, it was always going to be difficult for Rovers without six first team regulars, including the club captain. The intense heat would also have been a factor(36 degree). Despite some of the negative comments here, it surely cannot be said that ferencvaros are a superior side to Ludogrets(who rovers beat in tallaght) as Ludogrets are now a regular champions league group stage team, unlike ferencvaros. Even though it looks like Rovers are heading to the conference group stages, I personally believe Rovers are well capable of beating ferencvaros in Tallaght and I expect them to be a lot.better next week on home soil.

  3. Unfortunately but a much needed reality check for us Irish! This is our islands best club, yes on the island of Ireland, Shamrock Rovers are the best club from administration too academy too first team and coaching staff but they are miles off what are even considered small clubs in Europe. We have a long long way too go
