  1. The Canada men's national soccer team features several key players born outside of Canada. These players represent a diverse mix of foreign-born naturalized citizens and players who relocated to Canada at a young age.Notable players born abroad include:Alphonso Davies: Born in Buduburam, Ghana, to Liberian parents before relocating to Canada as a refugee.Jonathan David: Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Haiti before moving to Ottawa.Ismaรซl Konรฉ: Born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, and moved to Montreal at age seven.Tani Oluwaseyi: Born in Abuja, Nigeria, and moved to Canada at age ten.Luc de Fougerolles: Born in London, England.Owen Goodman: Born in London, England.Alfie Jones: Born in Bristol, England.

  2. Cant wait to come back to this post after a couple of hours to see what they say when SA wins …. I dont think the guy with Glasses knows anything about football

  3. The pearl clutching about a coach lying about whether their star player can start or not is very strange to me. Also, I love how butt-hurt media members get when they are lied to. Gosh, media, what's that like?

  4. This game is a joke. I wanted Canada ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ to play South Africa ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ instead of South Korea. Canada has a HUGE edge in this game. Despite that, they are only a – 150 favorite. South Africa has no chance of winning.

  5. Highlights

Alphonso Davies is back for Canada – one of the fastest footballers in the world 9/10

Relebogile Mofokeng 7/10 though bit under rated because of league obscurity

Canada being hosts have an advantage too

  6. It is so painful to have clueless panelists who don't know what they are talking about Davies or Marsh has never been acid tested talking about one player and their Coach who will be calling a quit after being fired by Canadians who are presently feeling a hit ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

  7. Davies is no doubt an excellent player but not quite suitable for Canadian national team because he passed soccer too fast and rarely consider how comfort the teammate could feel. I doesn't feel this episode is really considering what our real concern but just make a noise that distract from what strategy could work for Canadian team. I don't care who is Davies, I only consider whether he is the best suitable one on the field.

  8. "Canada's coach sends South Africa confirmation of starting lineup and substitutions days in advance of Round of 32 match to help South Africa plan accordingly". See how wild of a headline that is?

  9. ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ we have our messi , president of football his name is Rele Mofokengโ˜ โ˜ โ˜  canada we are waiting for you.

  10. The big question should be how did South Africa qualify?…. If they analyse that they will know what kind of football team RSA is. The Mexico game was a decoy for all of you to undermine us. We are watching and we will be there after the final whistle of this last 32 match.๐Ÿ˜‚
