  1. I don’t feel like it’s right to pile on him after one bad performance. He is 41 and he hasn’t been in peak form for years, this is to be expected. He and Messi are respectful of each other, so so should their fans be. He is one of the most successful players ever at the tail end of his career, let him go out gracefully.

  2. Imagine having a career highlight of playing for a mid-table side and thinking your opinion on Cristiano Ronaldo carries weight. It’s beautiful how TV networks bypass legends who have actually won Champions Leagues just to hand a microphone to someone whose trophy cabinet is entirely pristine and untouched. Please, tell us more about the pinnacle of football from the perspective of a below-average career. A 60-year-old Ronaldo with a blindfold would still have a better first touch than this guy did in his absolute prime.

  3. Historically every time people start bashing on Ronaldo he comes back with an avalanche of goals. Only issue here is the team is playing miserably and he might not get a single ball near the penalty box!

People are blaming Ronaldo when the team spent the whole game passing the ball from one side to other, a few centimeters from the midfield line… i feel sorry for people who paid a ticket to watch this…

Basically if the ball doesn’t even approach the penalty box, and Ronaldo can’t touch the ball, how can you blame him?

Here are the stats from Portugal to back this up:
Ball possession 75%, total shots 7 (!!!), shots on target 1 (in 90min and with 75% ball possession!!!!!), total passes 784, total successful passes 727 (92%), number of passes done by the 2 central backs 195 (24% of the total number of passes!!!!!), number of times Vitinha (midfielder) touched the ball 134 (he beat the record of successful passes done in a game 121/128 doing it from side to side or to the back!!!!), number of times Ronaldo touched the ball 25 (!!! let’s ignore how “good” these passs were).

How can you blame this on the 1 guy??? How???

  4. Mental because I don’t actually disagree but when it’s coming from Troy “Puglsey Influenza” Deeney, I switch off because he’s an absolute bell end

  5. Portugal is a better team with Ramos as the number 9, this was also the case 4y ago… But apparently the 1000 quest is more important than team sucess.

  6. Unfortunately the game passed him by bro ? Really ? It's not unfortunate . He's 41 . Way beyond his prime . But too headstrong to call it quits. Even jordon had to to retire at one point . He just want to reach a 1000 goals and then boast about it on his YT channel. That's what it is

  7. Why is everyone shitting on Ronaldo. He missed a couple chances, this is football. I ain't a Ronaldo glazer but don't just glaze Messi because he scored and call Ronaldo a problem because he didn't.

  8. Yeah! Keep feeding fuel into his fire 🔥
Next episode: The CR7 Strikes Back 😊

(I am not a CR7 fan, but you should have figured by now what moves him. Controversy and adversity just fuels him)

  9. Last world cup these people spoken against Messi when Argentina loose first game Messi already old Messi should play last 30m bla bla bla and now they doing the same with CR7 bunch of losers

  10. Hopefully, he will fare better the next game. It is only one game, and knowing how compwtitive Cristiano is, I think his performances from now on will be much better…😅

  11. With or without Ronaldo, Portugal should be winning that game with 10 man , everyone is reaching conclusions based on ONE ball that should have been left to Bruno. Portugal should of had 20 of those chances not one
