DEI in the studio.
Some of these people are shocking with their punditry… They know anything about any of these players?
Isak was injured 🥲but now He is back ❤️KING.
Who do we think will be in the final?
The real test is coming on saturday facing The Netherlands.
Scandinavians are strong and fearless 🇸🇪💪🏻
Tunisia is stuck in a limbo between their old defensive play, and a manager that try to get them to be a more offensive team
We just completely forgetting about Ayari now? Scored 2 goals, 1st and 5th, and not a single mention?😂
From Africa teams,, Tunisia and South Africa are a total embarrassment. Yes analysts will blame the coach, easy targets when things go wrong but remember coaches do not play on the field. Players follow instructions and play.
Once upon a time sweden had a realy good defencive nr 10.
These experts have zero knowledge.
it's incorrect that he shouldnt play them together, that was never a sane option.
Weird to hear an American accent commenting on Swedish football!
Clueless "experts".
Changing coach always create a good change and momentum. Just look at Sweden. I think Netherlands and Japan should be scared of a different Tunisia
🎉 Sweden will vin WM 2026 🎉
I'm from Sweden, but this is only one game. The Swedish team certainly has potential, but they still have a lot to prove. They need to prove they can play at this high level consistently.
Swedens Harry Potter
As a Tunisian, I haven't seen many people explaining the context behind this decision. Tunisia has always been known for its defensive solidity — we're often called "the Italy of Africa" for a reason. Even in the last two World Cups, we were competitive and hard to break down.
The problem is that Sabri Lamouchi failed to win a single match during the preparation period. More importantly, if you look at the World Cup qualifiers, Tunisia didn't concede a single goal and won almost every game, which shows the defensive identity and discipline that people expect from this team.
Expectations were therefore quite high going into the tournament, especially against Sweden. We know Sweden have talented players, but they haven't been a major force at international level in recent decades. The federation probably saw that match as a realistic opportunity to get three points. Then, by defending well and parking the bus against Japan and the Netherlands, qualification would have been within reach.
So imagine an entire nation building expectations around that scenario, only to lose the opening match 5–1 to the team many believed Tunisia had a chance of beating. That's why the reaction was so strong and why Lamouchi was sacked so quickly after the defeat.
Isak, Gyökeres and Lindelöf are the three players that will start if they are fit. All other positions are up for grabs. Don't understand the saying that Potter had to play Isak and Gyökeres.
Nu tar vi guldet!
Graham is ours ❤ kind regards from northern Sweden
The problem Sweden has is the defense. Isak Hien always looks uncomfortable whenever he's put under pressure. If the Netherlands target him and force Sweden to play through him, Sweden could have a very difficult night.
Easy guys it was against Tunisia. Don't forget to come back when they loose to Netherlands 4-1
These pundits are a joke. Just word sallad and no true deep analysis.
0 ball knowledge.. Three goals were not the keepers problem.. Starting eleven was trash, managers desision
I was most impressed by the Swedish press. It looked rather synced for national football and with a full preimer league front 4-5 its players used to doing it. It will catch Japan out, mark my words.
In what Universe was Graham Potter leaving either of Isak or Gyökeres out of the starting 11 if they are both healthy? Ofc they would both play, as they would have with Jon Dahl Tomassen if both are healthy.
Sweden !!… Dark horse….. ? for what !!! ROW ! ROW ! ROW ! ROW !!!! 😂🤣
Nico Cantor is furious over this 😂😂
The Leicester City style of football. is leaving the Pep Guardiola style teams in the dust. I'm happy because I like underdog stories, and it's football, actually enjoyable to watch.
Here in Sweden this starting 11, with Isak and Gyökeres, was pretty much a given and the only reason they didn't play as much together earlier was purely down to Isak's injury and Graham Potter wanted to let him get fully in shape before playing him!
So happy that we finally have a manager that doesn’t bring in old mid 30’s players that don’t play in their clubs because of nostalgia.
New fresh blood is exactly what Sweden needed, and got due to Graham.
Like Völler and Klinsmann back in the days. Love it.
Spain (rank 2) – Cap Verde (68) 0 – 0
Sweden (38) – Tunisia (45) 5 – 1
Sweden always stands a chance at top 3. Lets not forget Sweden has more medals than Spain and England combined!
Sweden has a bit of a golden generation going. And smaller countries need to cater to their strengths. For the longest time that strength was Zlatan Ibrahimovic and not much else. Now Sweden have two world class strikers, two of the best in the world. Which means they will play both and adapt the rest of the team to that choice. And so far so good.
Isak was injured for most of those qualifiers.
I think u r right Mbizo… the 1st goal was a bit cheap… a top top shotstopper gets his hands up for the 1st one.
Also in the beginning of the 2nd half when they upped their aggression they put Sweden under pressure.
It was not so bad. More that they gave up after getting behind with the 3rd goal. And I think also that Sweden is performing way way better now compared to earlier for their ex manager… and before that they were also performing well in the Nation's League so… I think the expectation are a bit low on Sweden tbh.
LMAO at the comments. Seems that a big part of your listeners is swedes. Feels just like home! 🥰
