  1. I've got a mate who is a Spurs fan who SWEARS BLIND that Tottenham could of signed Okocha for nothing because they were offered him first. And like the moronic braindead idiot Glenn Hoddle is he actually said "no."

  2. I love these inside transfer stories. 4 of my brothers are adopted from a small country in south africa called lesotho. When i was 11, 2 of them were adopted and they were 10. They were obsessed with jayjay. So i grew up from a young age loving this dude. We had dvds of his skills we would always watch before youtube was a thing. We had all this mans jerseys. What a f'ing player!!!

  3. Gen Z won’t understand, those days we watch epl bcos of jay jay, such a talent, was expecting to see Gardner among those legend, Nicky hunt the lege lege guy then have put on weight now ooo, 30k as at 2002 weekly will be around 150k now if nt more, so that wasn’t a bad deal.

  4. That late 90’s – late 2000’s football era probably the best.
Players weren’t robots, players not afraid to express themselves. I’m a Liverpool supporter but looked forward to watching Bolton games, they had some cracking players!

  5. Absolutely love jay jay my favourite player of all time just because the the joy he had when he was on the pitch. The Nigerian team and Bolton team around that time were top class.
