That penalty for Chicago was a terrible call
There was a high school basketball game in a small Kentucky town way up in a Hollar. The two referees had to drive up and officiate the game against the bitter rivals who happened to be better. The fans in the crowd were getting angry and taking it out on the refs.
They were relieved when the Principal of the school took the microphone and told the crowd to quiet down. The refs were finally breathing a little easier and then…
He said "A lot of the calls are going against us, but let's let this game finish and show some respect to these two gentlemen. We can wait since after the game they have to walk to their cars where we can get a hold of the bastards."
How many weeks he get for that stomp?
4:13 is a dive. He sees the contact coming and flopperoos.
I love how she doesn't back down from these jokers. Good for her!
You guys omitted the biggest blown call of the weekend. Clear Chicago hand ball in the box vs LA Galaxy, which took away a Galaxy scoring chance and no call, no VAR.
charlie was fr just saying words in the first play ๐
Can you put a microphone on the other guy too? ๐
Lmfao Just tell McConaughey his stadium needs more camera angles lol
Stop saying PK. You are awarded a penalty. Then you take the penalty kick. Get the terminology right. Lazy reporting. ๐คฌ
oh god here we go again.
1. what is he doing? easy call. gives me eden hazard flashbacks.
2. personally would give a yellow but can see the argument for red. also charlie "reckless as can be but yellow". reckless means yellow. try to get the terminology right.
3. yellow card. no debate here.
4. i would give a penalty here. studs to the top of the foot for me is a penalty. can see the argument for a no pen call however. it is a little soft. as andrew wiebe once said tho, a soft foul is still a foul!
5. handball. no debate here. good use of var.
6. not a penalty but not a dive imo. i think he just slips.
7. i honestly cant tell. imma stick with the original call.
hope this helps and please be respectful in the replies.
I love MLS but the way yโall spend money on your media is laughable. I can get better audio on my microphone at home
Futebol raiz kkkk esse dos estados unidos kkkkk
Kudos to the linesman(woman) who immediately stepped in to try to protect the downed player. Everyone got that one right.
Dax with a POS scumbag move and his "apology" only made it worse when he tried to justify it with some kind of soccer logic. Bud, you were not trying to do anything other than hurt that kid.
Nothing on Pozuelo literally kicking Russell Canouse in the face and walking away with a yellow card??

You guys should have a best actor award for each game.
I love how the video editor pauses on a frame where the player's feet are both off the ground, and wiebe's audio is something to the effect of "he didn't leave his feet; it's not like he left his feet". Also, it's "low", but the force clearly rolls the leg above the ankle.
In a chaotic world, it's nice to know this channel does not change.
PLEASE get these men decent mics. It's pretty embarrassing for a video produced by the league itself to have such mediocre production value
2:01 reminded me of Djibril Cisse leg break incident
You guys please use better mics. Sounds like dollar tree mics. Yikes.
Yeesh. Love the league, but the audio on this is atrocious. Why did you even release this?
can you please get a real microphone. New teams cost $300M. A good mic can be had for $100. C'mon MLS
Charlie, use your outside voice! I can barely hear you with full audio on my phone!
Calvo's Yellow card was reviewed by VAR, just not on the field. The center referee held up game play after the stoppage and listened in his ear for a couple of minutes, but never went to the monitor to check it. Yet it STILL took too long for the ref to not review it, just get a recommendation from VAR. That was after play continued for about 30 seconds after the foul, so VAR already had lots of time to look at it while action was on the field.
There was a two footed studs up into Lod's (I think) ankle in the second half by San Jose that was also a yellow. I was in the upper deck and could almost count the studs. The SJ player didn't leave the ground but it was bad. I would have like to have seen that one mentioned too.
That ref for lafc whitecaps should never ref again he will give a yellow for anything
Dax sux….always has. B grade player. He pushed him over. Roldan is on the latest USMNT roster. Jelly all day…he pushed him over. Foul. Y'all cut that for some lame reason. And then you make a "lose you cool" excuse. Please… this ain't high school gentlemen. Stomping isn't a play and you know it. Ejection warranted. Red card all day. ๐ฏ
how do MLS supporter group podcasts with 100 listeners have better sound than you guys in 2022?
I was sitting right behind Dax before he got in the game. Fans next to me kept yelling stuff to troll Nashville. He yelled back at them after Nashville scored their goal. Right there we knew we they were getting in his head. And he goes off and does this when he gets in the game ๐คฃ
Charlie Davies audio is garbage. You can barely hear him.
