Just stay home! The actual individual game attendance will never be made public. FIFA will "sell" unsold tickets to phantom buyers or sponsors to claim a "sellout". TV broadcasters will not be allowed to show empty seats but will show "rabid fans" packed into one section. Everything will be carefully choreographed. Just like the NFL.
I predict between Toronto and Vancouver alone the two cesspools of Canada that the debt in each city will be at least $6 billion dollars for a total of $12 billion dollars added to Canada's debt.
FIFA came here at the wrong with one of the worse PM we have with both being greedy.

FIFA is a criminal organization. Why are my tax dollars used to subsidy a loosing venture, when a host city ALWAYS looses money while FIFA keeps all the profits? Who is responsible making these dumb decisions? This is greed and utter stupidity on display big time. And all the regular tourists who would spend money will stay away.
Cheaper option? Watching at home.

Very confusing – just a week ago networks were reporting how many tickets were still available in both cities and how prices had dropped but I believe it is only resale tickets that are available – hence the extra high prices. Hotels had a lot of availability and were worried. I have no doubt that young male fan will be able to get a ticket at the last minute at a very reduced price.
