If you include the WCQ alone, then Erling Haaland has 16 goals and 2 assists, outperforming absolutely every other goal contributor. If you inlcude friendlies and Nations League as well, the goals and asists are over double that sum. I will say though, that most of those teams have been 2nd tier teams, so there is that. But if there is one standout from any national team, it is him.

Having Endrick in the conversation is diabolical, he may have had a good season but remember Carlo was real madrid coach a season previous to this and Endrick barely had any minutes. Apart from Igor thiago, cunha can play 9. Endrick will have some minutes but they will be very few probably less than 2 game time combined throughout the world cup. My bet would be Alvarez or Mbappe.
