I actually said this same thing to my mate. If the US got some proper gaffers with different styles of play, we’d see a boost in quality.
I've coached u6 up thru high school since 2002.. the level is improving but we sometimes get stuck in the mindset that winning > development. We let too many talented kids slip thru the cracks because we coaches are desperate for another medal.
