what gets me was their best player minamino and best striker who starts for celtic furuhashi just sat there on the bench. hatate who also starts for celtic wasnt even there.
With the amount of talent this team has, that display was pathetic. Japan was the perfect test to see how they will fair come World Cup time.
Maybe if they were more focused on soccer and not social justice issues they’d play better.
